You have heard it or said it to someone when they were faced with an adversity, “You have to walk it out.” We use this phrase often as Christians about the faith walk. Yet, do we know what it looks like?
THE FAITH WALK
It doesn’t look like you may think.
It sounds like the person is strong, fearless and confident in their belief with no sign of wavering or having feelings of doubt. However, a person who is “walking it out” is experiencing all kinds of emotions. Some days you feel strong and encouraged and other days you feel weak and discouraged and are trying to make it through one day at a time. You haven’t given up, but there are times that you struggle to hang on and need words of encouragement to persevere. At times, the walk is lonely, painful and quiet then other times it’s peaceful, you’re full of joy and excited. No matter how you’re feeling at the moment, it’s all a part of the process of “walking it out”. So, if you’re walking it out today, just remember even if you’re struggling, you’re still doing it.
